GOOGLE SUITE TO THE RESCUE: TRICKS FOR INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERS

Autocrat is a free Google Sheets add-on that offers a variety of benefits for educators, especially educational leaders:

1) Teacher Feedback:  Leaders are charged with coaching up the instructional capacity of their teachers and are frequently seen doing walkthroughs and observations of classrooms. However, how quickly are those teachers getting that timely feedback?  With autocrat, your coaches and instructional leaders can use the same observation form and that feedback immedialy is sent to the teacher.

2) Student feedback. Teachers and/or instructional leaders can set up autocrat to email students and/or parents whenever a student doesn't turn in an assignment, or receives a low grade, etc. It can be used to automatically create a list of students who received a poor grade so that the teacher can work with them in small group instruction.

3) Grade level/context exit exams. Create an exit ticket for all your teachers in a grade level (or subject) and get immediate results on whether students have mastered the content--use the dashboard to create neat, visible charts.

4) Dismissal Procedures. Set up autocrat to instantly email teachers which students' bus has arrived, or if a parent has changed pick up procedures, etc.
